About Me

A while ago, my ex-boss said to me, "I want you to speak to this guy; he's going to ruffle your feathers".  This "guy" was a coach, and in the midst of my career and personal challenges, his coaching turned me one hundred and eighty degrees.  I was hooked!

Hi, I'm Rafic or just Raf for short.  By day I am an IT Director, and by night I am a Husband and father to two beautiful children.  When I'm not working or coaching, I enjoy DIY around the house (it keeps my wife happy) plus, I'm a hobbyist woodworker and enjoy building stuff.

So coaching, I hear you ask?

I've always been a people person and tend to connect on a deeper level.  I love working with people and creating a trusting environment.  I've been told that I carry myself with warmth and have a curiosity to understand others.  With 20 years in the IT industry working for some large corporates, I've seen what both work and life can throw at you and now I want to pay it forward.

So why me?

I was going to start with my qualifications, but I know what my clients would say.  It's my warmth, ease, positive energy, and ability to understand others.  As well as being an accredited coach, a member of the International Coaching Federation, and leading groups of people in some of the world's most well-known companies, I also hold a BSc in Computing Science.  In my spare time, I learn more about and honing my coaching to ensure the best possible value for my clients.
